How many times can you take the Afast?
If you fail to achieve a qualifying score, you must wait six (6) months before your commander can authorize a retest. If you fail to achieve a qualifying score on the retest, you will not be authorized to take the test again.

What is the Fast Aviation Instrument Rating syllabus?
The FAST Aviation Instrument Rating syllabus covers all navigation aids and IFR procedures, including NDB & 3D approaches. All of the flight training is conducted in the Barons (B55 & B58).
What aircraft types are available for MEA&Instrument Rating training?
While many schools offer MEA & Instrument Rating training in FADEC aircraft such as Diamonds, or training twins such as the Seminole or Duchess, these aircraft types are not utilised in the real world of commercial general aviation.
