The USSR were lethal and were fighting for world communism. Just like the influence of America’s democracy on other countries, USSR, too wanted to spread Communism. So it did, to China, and eventually to Indo-China, where we fought Vietnam because we were afraid that the north forces which were of Communist influence, might overtake South Vietnam. After Germany decided to intercept the Soviets in World War 2, everything began. Many soviets died defending Moscow and the result of World War 2 led the USSR into revenge with Germany and eastern European countries. That’s why the Berlin Wall was built, to seperate the East Germany from the West. Eventually , Cold War would begin and U.S and U.S.S.R would fight for Nuclear Domination. They were determined to the extent that they wanted to beat us Americans in everything because they thought that the concept of Communism would be successful, and they were wrong.
