The same applies to all kinds of recruitment companies. A lot of companies give special packages for certain types of customers, such as sports, security, or manufacturing work. These packages may include a special exam of those candidates and a guarantee of the level of the training they will receive. Some companies also guarantee that a candidate will move to the team after a short period of training.
For all the types of candidates, employers require detailed information regarding their background, education, job experience, professional qualifications, personal characteristics and other qualifications – you can find it all in the application. The application form and all the information you get on the exam will be of great help to you. Be careful, as this form does not always tell you everything you need to know in order to move forward from the start or to gain a competitive advantage.
For example:
If you are a candidate for the security industry, it is mandatory to submit a detailed profile of a period of five years or more since you have been on a regular job. Some companies will also require you to upload copies of your security clearance. Many companies ask you to describe the situation you encountered during the testing. You will also need to provide a letter from the security agency that gave you the clearance to the companies you have applied to. Sometimes, a company may only ask for a letter if they are confident in it. But you will still need to provide it.
As I mentioned, an initial assessment is mandatory in order to get your work. What this means, depends on the company.
Some companies require an initial assessment to determine the level of training you will receive after your job offer has been signed. It is also possible that this process is carried out in several stages. It all depends on the company and the position you are applying for. It is best that you have your initial assessment in writing, so that you know what to expect.
Another type of assessment is a “qualification assessment” in which you are judged through different factors such as your technical skills, knowledge of specific fields or industry, your behaviour and your attitude towards work. Many companies also require an assessment of the ability to communicate with people both inside and outside your company so as to make sure you understand the challenges of the work you are about to do and how to deal with them. In this case, you will receive a second assessment of the kind I mentioned in the beginning.
A final, and perhaps most important, type of assessment is a “comprehensive evaluation” (or “compenza de evaluacion”) which is carried out in order to make sure you pass the initial assessment and make sure you have the skills/experience to do your work. This assessment may take place on paper, online or through a video, but you must be ready to demonstrate your knowledge and skills through a specific task and to solve it successfully.
Of course, a lot of companies have separate assessments for all positions.
One factor to bear in mind is that all assessment forms will tell you in detail what is expected of you. They will be written in clear, straightforward and understandable language.
