What do I need to have to go to medical school to be a doctor at Harvard University?
Im currently a sophomore in High School who is already looking at colleges. My main thing that i want to major in is medical studies. I want to be a doctor but don’t yet know in what field. I’ve been researching all over the Internet about the process that I have to take but I haven’t got a straight-forward answer. Does anybody know the process of requirements that I need and how much it will cost to be a Doctor and study at Harvard University?
Do well in high school. Get into a good college like: UCLA, Berkely, Stanford, Cornell, MIT, a top institution.
Do extremely well in your undergrad education. Major in Biology, or something along those lines or if your school offers it, take their pre-med, but this is’nt required. Doing well your first 4 years is the key.
No med school will care about your high school career. Do well in college. Have a good GPA. You better be in the top, and i mean TOP of your class.
Harvard med in extremely competitive. Youre gonna have to do applications, write essays, get letters of recommendation, face to face interviews, its tough.
Get your Bachelors degree.
Then your senior year in college, maybe junior, start applying to Harvard med school.
Obtain copious amounts of money, take out loans, get scholarships, etc. Its super expensive.
Do well in your studies.
Get a good career.
Make the world a better place.
