What does “being in my shoe” means?

QUESTION
What does “being in my shoe” means?
What does “being in my shoe” means? my teacher wants us to write a short essay with this tittle.. any ideas? =)

ANSWER
If you were to, “Walk in somebody else’s shoes,” you would be living their lifestyle, facing their problems and their difficulties as well as enjoying their pleasures. It’s usually a statement said to prove that somebody else’s lifestyle isn’t as easy as you might imagine.

So, if somebody is, “Being in your shoe,” they are living in your shoes; they are facing the hardships, as well as the enjoyments, of your life. Your teacher here must be asking you to write about your life, and what it would be like to live as you do.
