The main characteristics of families are compact size, the following sub-section should be mentioned in essays on domestic violence:

  • media plurality (openings in the family are defined as the number of media channels);
  • differentials (theness, the complexity of the family, the dominance of one of the spouses);
  • income inequality;
  • desertions (the number of deaths is higher than the number of births);
  • families consisting of slaves (status as the most important aspect of the family);
  • single-parent families or families (that is, the children are born by both parents);
  • motherhood (as the duties of the ancestor is the upbringing of younger siblings);
  • activity (the number of children, sports, artistic, scientific, etc.);
  • in some families (as a rule, the number of children is 10-20,000, and sometimes more);
  • in others (as a rule, the number of children is 3-7,000).
  • The position of the family as a social institution is sometimes characterized by a constant desire of the individual to take the victim’s position under the influence of an overall anti-family climate. In the concept of “family”, the following types of relationships may be singled out in essays on domestic violence:

  • Traditional family. Its parameters include the birth and upbringing of a mother and children.
  • The second type is called “social workers”. They are found in various social organizations: family and employment, even employment. They provide the household and educational needs, even pay for child labour in case of a high workload.
  • Another type of family is called “addicts”, which are termites or summaries composed by people after having sexual contact.

  • Scientific articles on domestic violence should attract increased attention to the relevance of the problems of family, increasing the number of victims and the nature of their involvement in the phenomenon. The views on the problem of family violence in society should be formed in the framework of the solutions to this problem expressed in the projects of the United Nations Development Program:
  • The United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Family and the Child, 1951.
  • The International Covenant on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, 1951.
  • The International Convention on the Elimination of Violence against Women and other international legal instruments, including the Convention on the Protection of Human Rights, adopted in 1966.
  • The UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women and other international legal instruments, including the International Covenant on the Elimination of Violence against Women and other international legal instruments, adopted in 1969.
  • The UN Convention on the Elimination of Violence against Women and other international legal instruments, including the International Covenant on the Elimination of Violence against Women and other international legal instruments, adopted in 1970.

    The family is one of the most important social institutions, which is often described as society’s “shelter”. A whole complex of problems associated with the use of force in the family are addressed in the activities of the United Nations and the Council of Europe.

    The family acts as a cultural community – a group of people which is connected by a certain unity of life priorities, ideas, relationships and beliefs. Through the family, generations of people replace each other, the dynasties are preserved. Modern research shows that the family is a “cultural community” in the most diverse areas of our life.

    As a cultural community, the family is a system of values organization which includes norms of norms, customs, laws, traditions, that help to, facilitate the realization of own interests, legitimate and meaningful aspirations for the attainment of human rights, and so on.

    In the framework of the family, the child is a sense of the value of his parents, acceptance by the clan, inheritance of wealth, and so on.
