What is a social phenomenon which, however, should be described in isolation from other social phenomena, which are sometimes quite different from each other in their nature. Socially and psychologically, the term “family” can be understood as protecting a society from division into masculine/feminine roles, the dominance of one gender over another. Through the family, generations of people replace each other, the ideal of humanism over material reality is preserved. The modern family is a multi-functional institution – a part of society, as a mother, a father and a child, a social group. Through the family, generations of people replace each other, the world is improved.

Over the last 10 years, the real change in the value system of the family has taken place. The misconception of children as the source of income increased. The modern family faces many problems, which are immediately visible and understood by the wide range of scholars. There is no wonder that the family is usually perceived as a social institution in the most diverse areas of our country.

The main problem of children in the family is the deep loss of self-esteem. The results of the psychological work with them are seen in the essay on the impact of income inequality on family relationships. The words “honour” and “family” are almost synonymous. In some families, a man acts as a higher member of the family. His knowledge, admiration and respect are recognized as the highest value in the system of family values.

The world population is now in a state of profound changes in the value system of the family. The complex set of standards of the day have become the subject of some internal divisions. The biggest of them is the system of family values for men and women (which is called male dominant behavior). Here, with the exception of the case of marriage, the man leads in the sense of morality, respects others, trying to satisfy own needs.

Mention in the value inequality essay that more recently, the idea of “family values” has been called into force in the family. The following meanings of the concept “family” have been widely used in the literature:

  • Personal interests, goals, needs, value orientations, relationships of children and their parents, professional interests, household activities, moral issues, the external attractiveness of partners reflecting the main functions of the marriage constitute a hierarchical system of family values.
  • The value hierarchy is established by the marriage institution as a social institution by default. Later, the role of the family as a social institution is increasingly being recognized as a social institution. Through the family, generations of people replace each other, the system of social relations is updated and enriched.

Nowadays, the family is a cultural institution. The character of marital relations is determined by the development of the individual and the ability to influence the behavior of children by creating in them a model of behavior that corresponds to the ideal created by the marriage.

The second change in the value system has occurred exactly within the framework of the transformation of the family, which is expressed in the following changes in the value system:

  • the increase in the importance of kinship, as the basic social institution, having a great influence on the formation of families.
  • pricing of access to the economic sphere, as the obligation of young families to provide children’s economic opportunities.

  • answering the question of what is family, as the understanding of the existence of families and the corresponding obligation of parents to provide families.
  • combating the selfishness of young families.
  • ensuring the poor level of income of families.
  • assistance to the widows of low-income families.
  • creating middle class in the upper class.
  • service of the elderly at the expense of the young families.
  • represents the interests of the working people.
