Why does my Promethean pen not work?

Some of the pens will work on the ActivSlate but not on the board. I have installed the latest drivers and have checked all connections. I have also tried pens that work on other boards as well as new pens. Nothing seems to correct the problem. It seems to just be getting worse.

They are 300 or 500 series (I’m remote this week). The staff have to constantly power cycle to boards to get the pens working. This can then work for a few hours or days.
