QUESTION

i have to write an essay about this and what to know how do i start my paragrapg and your opinion on the subject

ANSWER
I don’t think Hip Hop music itself is bad. But, I think what some of the artist portray and what their music portrays can be harmful to the youth, especially to those who are vulnerable to what they see and hear. If they are easily persuaded and are the type who wants to follow the trends or whatever, then those are the targets you want to help from being led on to what some of these artist nowdays are saying.

Hip Hop can be really good for the African American youth, also. It’s a way to express what you feel on the inside and it could be a talent that they can use, expose to the world, and make a good living off of it. It’s just the messeges that is sent through it.

Some of the music sends off all the wrong types of messeges and some are the ones that make a difference. You know the ones like Talib Kwalie, or Common, Mos Def, and sometimes Kanye West and those types. The ones that usually are known for giving out the wrong messeges are guys like 50 cent, and who don’t know his music?
