Flightradar24 has the largest online aviation database with information about more than 500,000 aircraft, 150,000 flights, 7,000 airports and 1,000 airlines. This data is updated in real time.
Can you look up past flight numbers?
Depending on the airline, you might be able to look up information at FlighStats.com, though data older than a few days requires that you create a (free) account. FlightAware and FlightWise may also be of interest, though these require a paid account for historical data.
How do I find past flights on Flightradar24?
You can now play back all flights around the world in the Flightradar24 app. You’ll see the new Playback button in the bottom toolbar of the app after updating to the latest version in the App Store or Play Store. Just tap the button, choose a date and time (UTC) and hit start.

www.lhr-lgw.co.uk has masses of info, but if the flight didn’t operate from one of those airports then the site won’t be much good. www.flightstats.com may have some archived info as well, could be worth a look. Alternately, have a look at www.caa.co.uk
