How do I access my UCL Library?

Simply enter your UCL userid and password in the boxes to access the resource. Many of our contracts permit limited use by members of UCL Library Services who are not current staff or students of UCL (eg NHS personnel; alumni; retired staff; external members).

School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) library: you need to join the SCONUL Access Scheme before visiting SOAS Library. If you are not eligible to join SCONUL, you will need to complete a Confirmation of Status form and take it to Birkbeck Library for authorisation.

Can you walk around universities?

You are free to walk around public colleges and universities. Public colleges will even have events that are open to the public. However, private universities have the right to ask you to leave.
