Did TTP replace GOES?

Why is SENTRI taking so long?

How long does it take for SENTRI approval?
Your initial application only requires around 20-30 minutes, but conditional application approval could take up to 6 weeks, and the interview booking time period could be weeks or months. SENTRI passes are valid for 5 years from the issue date before they must be renewed.

SENTRI Membership is valid for 5 years providing that the conditions of membership are not breached in any way. Your membership expires on your birthday; you can renew your SENTRI membership up to 3 months before it expires and it will be extended for another 5 years from your next birthday.
How long does it take to approve a car in SENTRI?
Please note processing times for vehicle enrollment vary vastly and it can take 3-5 months to process. Upon vehicle approval, you will receive a letter stating that you will receive a new SENTRI card, please disregard. You can use the vehicle immediately upon approval with your existing Trusted Traveler card.
