Shelter fees Fee sites are mostly found in New England and are usually $10 or less. Free sites are interspersed between the fee sites, and with planning, it is possible to mostly avoid the fee sites if you choose.
Do the AMC huts have showers?
Two meals, breakfast and dinner, are served in a common dining area, and all of the huts have running water and toilets, but there are no showers or baths. The huts are manned by workers called croo, formerly called Hut Men, back in the old days when the huts were almost exclusively staffed by men.
Can dogs stay at AMC huts?
Pets are not allowed at AMC Lodges and Huts. Alcohol should be used in a manner that is safe and courteous to oneself and to other guests.
