Does Bioweed really work?
BioWeed™ Control is designed as a highly effective (non residual) pre-emergent herbicide. The same qualities that allow the product to destroy contacted plant tissue will also destroy weed seed in the soil.
What are organic herbicides made of?
These include Weed Pharm (20% acetic acid), C-Cide (5% citric acid), GreenMatch (55% d-limonene), Matratec (50% clove oil), WeedZap (45% clove oil + 45% cinnamon oil) and GreenMatch EX (50% lemongrass oil). These organic products can be effective in controlling weeds, but there are limitations.
Is Bioweed safe for grass?
Will it kill grass? Bioweed will control most types of grasses. As it is not a conventional herbicide, full coverage of the grass is needed to get full control.

What kills couch grass?

Spray the affected area with a systemic weedkiller containing glyphosate, such as Roundup Ultra, which will kill all the grass, including the couch grass. Once all the grass has died, dig over and re-turf or re-sow the area. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using weedkiller.
