Does Csulb use Turnitin?
Turnitin® is a plagiarism prevention service available in BeachBoard.
How do you enter grades on BeachBoard?
In BeachBoard, click on Grades in the navigation bar of your course. Click the context menu icon next to the grade item associated with the dropbox and select enter grades. You will notice that students who submitted documents will have a submission icon next to their name.
How do I check my grades Csulb?
You may check your grades online through the MyCSULB Student Center. To do so you will need your campus identification number. For assistance with setting up your password and/or navigating MyCSULB Student Center, contact the Technology Help Desk.
What is BeachBoard?
BeachBoard is the University’s e-learning management system powered by Desire2Learn. BeachBoard courses are automatically created for each course in the university’s schedule and instructors choose whether or not they wish to use those BeachBoard courses.
What is beach connect?
Use Beach Connect to access support from a variety of campus resources. Students can find resources such as Academic Advising, Tutoring, Academic Coaching, and more. Appointments can be scheduled online for a variety of services.
What is a passing grade Csulb?
Note: although a D grade is passing for undergraduate coursework, if it is converted to an NC it is no longer a passing grade. Therefore, faculty and students should be aware that if a student chooses to convert a D grade to NC, they will need to retake and pass the course.
What is the minimum GPA for Csulb?
2.5 GPA or greater in college preparatory subjects, AND 3,200 minimum “CSULB Index” to be considered, for non-STEM major and a 3,600 minimum “STEM Index” for STEM majors. (Be aware this is higher than the minimum for CSU system-wide eligibility.)

How do I activate my Csulb account?
Activate Your Account and Student Email Go to the CSULB Password Utility and select Next. Then, enter your new CSULB email address (found in your admission email) and follow the instructions to set the password for your account.
