Does NYCO shrink?
They fit a bit large out of the package but always shrink very slightly after the first wash to a very good fit (on me). After washing, the NYCO Ripstop waist measures just under 33″ for the size 32.
How do you shrink viscose?
If you only want to shrink the garment a bit or only want to shrink some of it, use cool water. Gently swish your viscose clothing in the water so that it soaks up as much water as possible. Once it feels wet all over, submerge it. Let the garment soak in the water for up to 3 hours.

Opt for natural Drying When viscose is wet, it is more rigid and less soft. Once dry, it will recover its original shape. Do not put in the dryer, it is better to allow the viscose garment to air dry flat, on a hanger. Beforehand, you can wring it with a towel.
Can you shrink lycra leggings?
The care label on most spandex leggings will advise against tumble-drying, as the heat and motion can cause the fibers to wear out quickly. But if you’re trying to shrink a pair of spandex leggings, put them in the dryer on high heat for just 10 minutes to lock in the shrinkage achieved in the washing machine.
