The Arboretum welcomes commercial photographers; however, there is an additional charge for commercial photography.

National Arboretum guests are welcome to take photographs as they explore the public gardens, exhibits, and other natural and cultural resources of the grounds. Permits are required for all photo and video shoots.

Do you have to wear a mask at the Dallas Arboretum?
During the reopening, a maximum of 1,000 people are allowed in the garden. Visitors are asked to follow the City’s policy for wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing. Only two sets of restrooms are available, each limited to 25% capacity and guests need to wear a mask in the restrooms.

Are dogs allowed at CSUF?
CSUF Policies Service dogs are welcomed and permitted on campus (Americans with Disabilities Act Title II and III). On the CSUF campus, a Service Animal can only be a dog.
Can you smoke in the Arboretum?
Please respect that the Arboretum is a tobacco-free environment. Recreational equipment such as bicycles, skateboards, scooters, barbeques, radios, instruments, lawn chairs and coolers are not permitted.
Can you eat at the Arboretum?
Dining at the Arboretum. Visitors are invited to order food to-go and picnic anywhere on the grounds (except in restaurants) or bring their own food to enjoy in the garden. Paid general admission or member admission is required for all who wish to enjoy any of the dining options at the Arboretum.
