What is a good score for Gauss math contest?
The average mark on the Grade 7 Gauss Contest was 96.1 in 2019, while the average mark on the Grade 8 Contest was 86.5. We are quite pleased with these results.
What is a Euclid test?
It consists of 10 questions, each worth 10, for a total of 100. Questions are divided into answers only and full solutions parts. There are no multiple-choice questions. Competitors are reminded that marks for the full solution questions are assigned for form and style of presentation, as well as for answers.
Are math competitions useful?
Competing in math competitions is one of many ways to demonstrate a student’s intellectual capacity and commitment to the field. Through practice and preparation, students will further strengthen their math skills, which will enhance their grades, AP exams, and standardized test scores.
