How can you experience weightlessness?
Aboard a specially modified Boeing 727-200, G-FORCE ONE®, weightlessness is achieved by doing aerobatic maneuvers known as parabolas. Specially trained pilots perform these aerobatic maneuvers which are not simulated in any way. ZERO-G passengers experience true weightlessness.

What is 0g maneuver?
Overview. The Zero-G Experience® is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience true weightlessness. It’s not a simulation—it’s real life, minus gravity. Our specially modified Boeing 727 flies in parabolic arcs to create a weightless environment, allowing you to float, flip, and soar as if you were in space.
How long is a Zero-G Experience?
approximately 90 to 100 minutes
How Long Will I Feel Weightless? The flight portion of a Zero-G Experience® lasts approximately 90 to 100 minutes. During the flight 15 parabolas are performed each providing about 30 seconds of reduced gravity or weightlessness.
Can you experience weightlessness on Earth?
Yes. Free fall is defined as “any motion of a body where gravity is the only force acting upon it.” In the vacuum of space, where there are no air molecules or supportive surfaces, astronauts are only acted upon by gravity. Thus, they are falling towards Earth at the acceleration of gravity.
How do anti gravity chambers work?
A 5 stage vacuum pumping process is used to reduce the pressure in the chamber to a pressure of 0.05 torr (760 torr = standard atmospheric pressure). Evacuating the chamber to this pressure reduces the aerodynamic drag on the freely falling experiment vehicle to less than 0.00001 g.
Where is Vomit Comet?
KC-135A is now on display at Ellington Field in Texas. Then-lead test director John Yaniec said KC-135A was still going strong when it was retired in 2004, but its unique role made it “increasingly difficult and expensive to maintain.”
Can a plane fly without gravity?
Weightless Flight (also known as Parabolic Flight) is achieved aboard ZERO-G’s Boeing 727 aircraft named G-FORCE ONE. Weightlessness is achieved by flying G-FORCE ONE through a parabolic flight maneuver. Specially trained pilots fly these maneuvers between approximately 24,000 and 34,000 feet altitude.
How much does it cost to ride the Vomit Comet?
The trips on NASA’s Weightless Wonder, known more informally as the Vomit Comet, would cost more than $5,000 per person through the Zero Gravity Corporation.

Can I Change my Zero-G program reservation?
Once a Zero-G program is purchased, the reservation is nonrefundable and cannot be changed. However, it is transferable; you may provide the name of the participant taking your place up to five business days prior to the scheduled program. Gift Certificates are non-transferable and expire one year from the issue or auction date.
