Do you have to wear a mask at a bowling alley?
Skating rinks, bowling alleys & amusement arcades are included in the Government’s mandatory face-covering settings. Masks are not mandatory in restaurants & bars.
Do you need bowling shoes?
YES YOU DO. Bowling shoes are needed for safety first and performance second. Your shoes need to be clean with a smooth sole to allow you and all the other bowlers to walk up toward the pins and swing your ball into the lane without sticking or tripping on anything. Street shoes won’t do this.
Can you wear trainers when bowling?
Most places provide the shoes when you pay for a game, and some serious bowlers bring their own, but regardless, you aren’t allowed to wear “street shoes” while you bowl.
