What is the difference between EXC and XC?
Another big difference between the two bikes is that the XC-F has a monoshock linkage. It is quite stiff compared the EXC and that is most noticeable over the sharp tree roots, where it dances around a little bit. The XC-F has a super-impressive engine. I was amazed at how fast the thing is.
