As restrictions meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country loosen, Puspakom has elected to allow walk-ins. However, you could run into a long line and have to wait for a long time before your turn. You will be charged RM30 for the inspection.
What is needed for Puspakom inspection?
You only need to bring one of the following documents:
- Original Car Registration Card.
- Original Vehicle Ownership Certificate.
- Copy of a Car Registration Card which has been certified by the Commission of Oaths or JPJ Officer.
Do new cars need Puspakom inspection?
Application Requirements: The new car has not been registered. The old car has to undergo PUSPAKOM inspection to determine the vehicle identity. For new cars, inspection is not needed except for imported cars. The old car is not blacklisted by JPJ or PDRM.
