What does a Stage 3 Cam do?
The Stage 3 cam is designed to work with some larger valves, port work, and upgraded carburetor or EFI system. This cam starts moving the power band a little higher in the RPM range (2500-6000). This is the biggest cam we recommend for a street application. It is used commonly in the race and hot street applications.
How much HP does a stage 4 BTR CAM add?
The Stage 4 sacrifices a some low rpm torque while on a mission to make max peak power. It is not uncommon to see 460+whp with proper supporting mods including a quality set of cylinder heads. In automatic cars, a higher RPM torque converter is a requirement. Consult your tuner regarding stall speed needs!
Whats better stage 2 or stage 3 cam?
Running a stage 2 is better than a stage 3 on a supercharger set up because of the overlap in the cam. It will let out the vacuum pressure and you end up loosing boost. the valves don’t close fast enough.

dont get it. you wont make enough power to get it going like it should. High compressing it will do a little something extra but not much, go with the crower stage 2 and keep it NA. would work alot better for u.
