Are FiTech EFI?

Does a carburetor make more power than fuel injection?
Warren Johnson: Properly tuned, carburetors make more peak power than EFI in a Pro Stock engine. A carb’s pressure differential atomizes the gas a lot better than spraying fuel through an orifice.
Will Holley sniper work with HEI distributor?
Yes, the Sniper EFI isn’t compatible with the GM large cap HEI (as is) for ECU controlled timing. Sniper ECU controlled timing is only possible with an (MSD type) Magnetic pickup distributor or a Holley Dual Sync distributor. It’s in the Sniper instruction manual (LINK).
Does FiTech need a fuel pressure regulator?
Note: If you are using this #50001 FiTech Fuel Delivery Kit with a fuel injection system other than FiTech, you will need to incorporate a fuel pressure regulator between the post filter and the inlet port on the throttle body, or fuel rail if it is a port injection system.
Does FiTech need a return line?
You NEED a return regardless with an inline pump fuel system. It comes down to if you are returning from a remote mount regulator or from the built on regulator.

How much fuel pressure does the FiTech EFI run? Our internal regulator is preset at 58 psi and is non-adjustable.
Can you run boost on FiTech?
This system is capable of 25lbs of Boost right out of the box and can be used in a blow thru turbo or blower application or on a single roots style supercharger. You can also run a single stage of Wet Nitrous and control your A/F as well as Ignition timing.

Is there any documentation for the fitech tuning kit?
There is no documentation for it supplied in the kits, or on the website. I think FiTech figures the people that need to do that kind of thing should already have a clear understanding of what they are doing. FiTech does document how to use a few of the basic tuning features on their website, not so much in the docs that come with the kits.
