As the world’s unrivalled authority on record-breaking achievement, our role is to celebrate the world’s best, to inspire ordinary people and to entertain and inform. For these reasons, we do not pay record-breakers for their achievements or for carrying out a record title attempt.
How much is a Guinness World record certificate worth?
It currently runs $800 USD for breaking an existing record (more if you are setting a new record). After your attempt, you can also purchase expedited evidence review for about $650 USD. This gets your record attempt reviewed within five business days, rather than waiting for 12 weeks.
How can I get Guinness World Records for free?
Simply register or login, find the record title you would like to apply for and submit the form. If you cannot find the title you want, click ‘apply for a new record title. ‘ If your application is accepted, you will receive the record attempt guidelines.
