Aura is one of those stories that makes you happy and sad in the space of a few minutes. It is a reminder of how horrible school kids are but also how fragile they are. The big question is whether Aura is an enjoyable anime or not? I enjoyed it.

(Aura could practically be the movie version of tv show.) Except, I actually think I liked the characters better in Aura. Still, the two are so alike in my mind that I’m giving Aura the same rating I gave to Chuunibyou: good, but not great. 3.5 stars
Is Aura worth a try?
Regardless, I’d recommend to give Aura a try. It’s short and sweet, and while not as profound as it could have been, Aura still tugs lightly at the heart strings and it sure left me with a big smile on my face after the film finished.
