Is Buckinis same as buckwheat?
Buckinis are delicious activated crunchy buckwheat seeds, known as Buckwheat Groats and in this article I will teach you how to make activated buckinis. You can also toss them through soups, salads and well practically any dish you like, as the taste is mild and slightly nutty.
How do you cook activated Buckinis?
Instructions
- Place the buckwheat groats in a medium to large saucepan (with enough room for the buckwheat and lots of water).
- Bring to the boil over a high heat, then turn down the heat to medium-low and cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on your personal preferences.
- Drain the buckwheat in a sieve and serve.
Are Buckinis good for you?

Add the buckinis, shredded coconut and chia seeds. In a small bowl add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cacao powder and whisk with a fork. Pour the coconut oil mix into the large bowl and mix it with the dry ingredients. Pour the mix into a tray and press down firmly. Place in the fridge to set for about two hours.
