Galvumet contains metformin. If you have more than one metformin- containing medicine in your possession you may accidentally take too much (overdose). Accidentally taking too much metformin can cause a very serious side effect called lactic acidosis. ACCIDENTAL METFORMIN OVERDOSING IS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY RISK.
