If you’re just ranging, d’hide is better. For magic defence, for example against waterfiends or bloodvelds, karils is better. I wish I had known that earlier…
When to use Hide vs Karil for magic defense?
Like kraken or whipping bloodvelds Most scenarios hide is worn is for magic defense because you have to pray melee or range but will still be attacked by magic. D’hide > Karil for melee/range defense and magic.

but black d hide is definetly better cuz its MUCH more cost efficient More sharing options… ya black hides be better, unless you need alot of magic defense which not many people do. I have both lol but i do abberant spectre tasks and the like that need magic def.
