Mt Trio and Mt Toolbrunup walk trails and access roads in the park will open on 8am Saturday May 23. Stirling Range Ridge Walk including Ellen Peak will remain closed for the rest of the year, and Toll Peak picnic area and Moingup Springs campground and picnic area remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Best Time to Climb Bluff Knoll Personally, I wouldn’t do this steep hike in the peak of summer. Avoid going in the peak heat of the day. Start the hike in the morning, or later afternoon. Make sure not to leave it too close to sunset – it would be challenging to climb down the steep path in the dark.
