You can tap (long press?) to view an item’s details, or drag to an icon to sell. I like this idea, as you can inspect all your picked up gear beforehand, equip what you want, move what you don’t want to a certain area. The sort bag feature is also useful to players about to sell stuff to a vendor.

“Gifted” villagers maintain any clothing they’ve been given, as well as the catchphrase given to them by the player. “Ungifted” villagers, on the other hand, are still in their “original” form — they are the same as one would get from inviting a camper via Amiibo or going island-hopping.
