Howl’o’ween is Chessington’s annual SPOOOKTACULAR event in October celebrating Halloween with some spooky family fun! Ghosts and ghouls are still conjuring up their fiendish plans for 2022, but you can be sure there will be plenty of tricks and treats carved out for all ages.

Hocus Pocus Hall was a gothic-themed house of mirrors at Chessington World of Adventures Resort in southwest London, England. Originally the site of several mansions dating back to 1348, Burnt Stub Mansion was a private feature for years, before opening as Hocus Pocus Hall in 2003.

Great theme park for toddlers 2+ years old, younger ones may struggle as not a great deal of rides suitable for them, but the zoo and sealife center are very good. Lots of rides for the 2 year olds, in the week the queues aren’t too long so would recommend going then.

Is Chessington suitable for a 5 year old?
There is a toddler area for little ones under 0.9m and a junior zone for those between 0.9m and 1.4m with a big slide, bouncy mat and high netted areas. Sophie had a wonderful time stacking the soft foam bricks in the toddler area and making towers and a bed from them.

This is a ticket for Chessington Zoo only – no theme park rides are available during this event. Merlin Discovery Passes have exclusion dates on 8 th Jan, 15 th Jan, 22 nd Jan, 29 th Jan, 5 th Feb and 26 th Feb. Passholders will need to buy a standard day ticket to visit on these exclusion dates.
