The EP Booster pedal delivers up to 20dB of boost that will add an undeniably rich character to your guitar tone. Internal Dip switches allow you to fine-tune the boost frequencies and EQ settings.
Is the lpb1 a treble booster?
No. This isn’t an EQ of any sort. It is a basic BJT amplifier, with carefully chosen capacitor values so only the treble frequencies are amplified.
Where should I put my pedal booster?
A second very popular way to use a boost pedal, is to put it in front of an overdrive pedal in your signal chain. In this position in your signal chain, engaging your boost pedal will not increase your volume at all. Instead, it will increase the gain and compression in your overdrive pedal.
Should a boost go before or after overdrive?
In general, when you place a boost pedal in front of a gain pedal (overdrive or distortion), the boost will make the gain pedal more saturated. If you place a boost after your gain pedals, it will make the same sound, only louder.
