What does non-Award course mean?
Non-Award study is where you are able to study individual units offered by the University, but you are not enrolled in or eligible for the completion of a full degree.
What happens if you fail a course at ANU?
If you fail a course, you will be permitted to re-enrol in it in a subsequent semester should the course be available. You can seek permission to re-enrol in a course for a third time using the Manage My Degree eForm, via ISIS. You will not be permitted to re-enrol in a course a fourth time.
Is ANU free for international students?

You will most likely have to appeal to be able to retake the course a fourth time. Once again, the college you attend will have clear guidelines on how many times you can fail a class and how many times you can take the same class over.

If you fail your matric exam or supplementary exam, you can register to redo your matric. Failing a matric re-write doesn’t mean you can’t go to college. You can register to redo your matric and this time give it your all.
Is certificate of graduation the same as diploma?
Certificates are generally different than diplomas because they are given out to students who have passed a particular course of study not necessarily related to high school graduation requirements. Certificates show that students have mastered a particular skill usually associated with a job requirement.
Can international students study in Australia without awards?
International students should note that the ANU will not issue an electronic confirmation of enrolment (ECOE) for non-award study. You must already hold a visa that allows you to study in Australia. Some courses have prerequisites, including assumed knowledge and prior completion of other subjects.
