Who are SARC members?
SARC Members are community-based organizations that support people experiencing disability to live in, work in, and enjoy their community. There are approximately 100 SARC Members located all across Saskatchewan. SARC Members know that each person is unique.

What is the aim of a SARC?
The purpose of the examination is to gather any forensic evidence that may be available following a rape or sexual assault. This may include making an accurate record of any injuries that you may have sustained and collecting any DNA evidence that may be present.
How long does a SARC keep evidence?
If they are unsure whether to report to the police, we can store forensic evidence for two years to give them time to decide. We can provide them with emergency contraception. We can arrange for a sexual health check up.
