What happened to Schick?
Schick was purchased by Energizer in 2003 from Pfizer. On July 1, 2015, Energizer split into two companies, with Schick falling under Edgewell Personal Care.
How long do Schick Hydro Silk blades last?
That all depends on how often you shave. But we estimate that one blade refill lasts about a month, give or take. Should I use shaving cream/gel? Up to you, but it does help reduce irritation and moisturize your skin for a smooth, close shave.
Do all Schick Hydro razors fit?
Like Gillette’s Mach3 Schick does the same thing. All Carts fit all handles in the same product line. So all Hydro carts fit all Hydro handles weather 3 or 5, weather regular or sensitive. They’re all inter-changeable.
Will Gillette blades fit Schick Hydro?

What is the difference between Schick Hydro 3 and 5?
The hydro 3 is great because the head is smaller. The hydro 5 is better because you can push back the “hydro bar” thing. I personally like the fact that I can remove that, but at the cost of 5 more blades. So the 3 wins my face, but but a tid cause it still has that hydro bar thing.

Yes. All safety razor blades are universal. Double edged or DE blades will fit into any butterfly razor or doubled-edged razor.
