How do you administer Ezpap?
Simply connect to a flow meter (wall air or O2 for enhanced FiO2), adjust 5-15 lpm, and instruct the patient to breathe normally through the mouthpiece or mask. Just a few minutes of therapy, as needed – not for hours at a time.
How do I set up an Aerobika?
Instructions for Using Your Aerobika
- Put the mouthpiece in your mouth.
- With the mouthpiece still in your mouth, breathe in.
- With the mouthpiece still in your mouth, breathe out.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 about 10 to 20 times.
- Take the mouthpiece out of your mouth and huff cough 2 to 3 times.

Does Aerobika require a prescription?
You have options to replace the Aerobika: To replace the Aerobika you need a prescription from your local health care provider. The prescription should read: “Aerobika PEP Device for airway clearance.”
How often should I use my Aerobika?
Each 10-20 minute treatment should be performed at least twice a day. The goal is to produce little to no mucus on a daily basis which means your lungs are clear. If you are bringing up a lot of mucus, you need to use your Aerobika* Oscillating PEP more often.
What is difference between MetaNeb and IPV?
The Metaneb® device employs a fixed orifice venturi to deliver the high frequency percussive breaths whereas the IPV® device manufactured by Percussionaire® uses a sliding venturi system.
