What is the best way to store K-Cups?
Keep a small stash in the drawer near your Keurig in a cutlery organizer; they’re so neat and tidy. You can store the rest in a plastic bin in the pantry. Another in-drawer storage option is to use dowels to keep the k-cups in a nice, tidy row. Hot glue the dowels in, and then place your coffee pods.
Are K-Cups being discontinued?

Is there a difference between K-Cups and pods?
A coffee pod is a single serving of coffee or tea packaged in filter paper. Pods are usually small, round, and flat. Sometimes they will be additionally wrapped in foil to help them stay fresh. A K-Cup is a single serving of coffee or tea (or hot chocolate) packaged in a little plastic cup.
Do all K-Cups fit all machines?
Do the New K-Cups Work in the Old Machines? The short answer: Yes. All Keurig branded packs will work as usual in the older brewers. Packs that do not have the new “Keurig Brewed” lids (pictured above) will not work in the Keurig 2.0 machines.
Should you refrigerate K-cups?
Most importantly, we suggest storing your K-CupĀ® pods in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. It might seem intuitive to keep them in the fridge or freezer for freshness, but we would recommend against it. The reason why is simple: Your K-CupĀ® pods will absorb the aromas from the fridge, affecting their flavour.
Is it OK to freeze K-cups?
You can freeze K-cups, but the manufacturers don’t recommend it. K-cups are vacuum sealed, so freezing won’t change the longevity of your coffee or tea.
Why was the Keurig 2.0 discontinued?
The 2.0 brewer included technology to lock out K-Cups that were not made by Keurig. Consumers were upset that the 2.0 brewer would not accept their existing K-Cups. Rogers Family Co. in California and others introduced methods to “hack” the 2.0 brewer.
What happened to Keurig?

Do K-Cups expire?
The truth is, as long as the integrity of the seal and packaging of the pod are intact, these pods generally won’t go bad for at least eight months to a year, no matter what the date on the package says. K-Cup Pods are flushed with nitrogen and sealed tightly against oxygen, light, and moisture.
Can you use K-Cups as instant coffee?
No, Keurig K-cups are not instant coffee. Keurig K-cups have ground coffee and a paper filter. Hot water slowly filters through the coffee grounds to brew. Instant coffee is made of finely ground coffee crystals that mix with hot water; it is not brewed or filtered.
Can you use other brand pods in a Keurig?
You can use any brand, as long as the K-cup is the same size.
Are Nespresso pods the same size as K-cups?
No K-cups and Coffee Pods are NOT the same and are NOT interchangeable. K-cups are specifically designed to be used in the Keurig single cup coffee maker only.
