E45 is an emollient. Emollients are proven to seal in the moisture. Paraffin creates a breathable and hypoallergenic layer over damaged skin to protect it from potential irritants whilst lanolin heals and softens the Epidermis.

E45 cream and lotion may cause skin irritation in people hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. If you find this product irritates your skin, stop using it and ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
When should you not use E45 Cream?
E45 itch relief cream is not recommended for babies under one month of age. The cream shouldn’t be used on infected, oozing or very inflamed areas of skin. The cream shouldn’t be used to treat severe, widespread reddening of the skin (erythroderma).
Can you use E45 under eyes?
Apply once or twice a day for a maximum of 7 days. Only apply to certain parts of the body and not to the face, eyes, broken or infected skin, genital areas or the bottom. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should speak to your doctor before using a steroid cream.
