Who is Laruto?
Laruto is the former Sage of Earth in The Wind Waker. She is a Zora, the only one of her race to appear in The Wind Waker. She was born in Zora’s Domain, before Hyrule flooded. She was killed by Ganondorf after he managed to circumvent the seal of the Goddesses and reached the surface of the ocean.
Where can I find Laruto?
Her spirit resided in the Earth Temple, awaiting the arrival of the Wind Waker. Laruto appears to Link after he conducts the Earth God’s Lyric found on a large stone slab blocking the entrance to the Earth Temple.

You get the Lightscale Trident after defeating Breath of the Wild’s Divine Beast Vah Ruta. If you break, lose or drop the Lightscale Trident, just visit Dento (he’s next to Ne’ez Yohma shrine in Zora’s Domain). He needs a Zora Spear, a diamond and five pieces of flint, and he’ll forge the Lightscale Trident anew.
