Who is Eligible to Apply to MBA Programs through The Consortium? The Consortium Fellowship is open to MBA applicants who 1) are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and 2) have demonstrated a commitment to the Consortium’s mission through community activism, professional involvement, and/or life experience.

The Consortium awards merit-based, full-tuition fellowships to top MBA candidates who have a proven record of promoting inclusion in school, in their jobs or in their personal lives.
How do I join Consortium?
Selection is based on community activism, professional involvement and life experience, and should be documented both in your application essay and at least one letter of recommendation. The Consortium staff will review your membership essay and recommendation to determine your fit with The Consortium.

The mission of The Consortium is to increase the ranks of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in business education and corporate leadership.
How do college consortiums work?
A consortium is a coalition of two or more schools with the intent of sharing resources, improving finances and educating students. Usually, consortiums are between schools in the same general geographic location, but some result from the melding of virtual campuses.
What opportunities does the consortium provide?

Not at all! Many applicants are admitted and receive scholarships even if they didn’t apply via The Consortium. Applying through The Consortium is optional for any member schools, and the list of Consortium member schools excludes many of the top 10 MBA programs.
