Dinorwig Quarry hadn’t been developed effectively. The slate that was easy to get at had been quarried by the 60s and investment was needed to develop further. The quarry owners didn’t have the money for this investment.

We parked in the car park. Took us 15 mins to walk along the path to get the the entrance of the quarry. There’s so much to see, we dropped down a steep path to go see the miners houses, took 20 mins to get down.
